I aim to keep everything relaxed and stress-free, but there are a few important policies in place to make sure things go smoothly for everyone. These help ensure that each family receives the best experience and attention possible. Here’s what you need to know:

Safety
Your home is your family's safe space, and I trust it’s a secure environment during our session. While I’ll be gently directing and photographing, I rely on you to ensure your children are safe and not engaging in anything risky. I won’t step in to prevent injury, that’s your call as the parent.
Weather
Outdoor sessions are beautiful, but we’re at the mercy of the weather. I avoid scheduling sessions during harsh midday light, so backyard shoots typically happen after 3 PM. If we’re facing rain, high winds, or extreme cold, we’ll make the call to reschedule the day before or morning of. If your home allows for it, we can always pivot to an indoor session instead.
Illness
If anyone in your family is feeling unwell, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance, and we’ll reschedule at no extra cost. Life happens! If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, the session deposit will be forfeited. I’ll always do my best to fit you back in as soon as my calendar allows.
Late Arrivals
I totally understand that families run on their own clock sometimes! There’s a 15-minute grace period built into your session. After that, we’ll begin the session and wrap up 1 hour and 15 minutes from the originally scheduled start time, regardless of the delay. Don’t worry, we’ll make beautiful memories with the time we have!
Deposits
To secure your session date, I ask for a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The amount varies depending on the session type, and I’ll let you know all the details beforehand. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.
Digital Images & Printing
You’ll receive high-resolution digital images that you’re welcome to download, share, and print however you’d like. I do recommend using a trusted professional lab to ensure the best quality, those grocery store prints won’t do your photos justice! I’m happy to recommend a few labs I know and trust.
Usage Rights
Your photos are yours to print, share, and treasure. If you share them online, I always appreciate a little credit (tagging me is lovely!) as long as the photos haven't been altered or re-edited. I also reserve the right to select a few favorite images to use in my portfolio, website, or social media. Your privacy is important to me, I’ll never share your personal details and will always take special care with images of your children.
